At age 14, Eva Green saw Isabelle Adjani in the movie, “The Story of Adele H.”, which became her inspiration of becoming an actress. Although her parents did not approve of her dreams of becoming an actor, they eventually supported Eva’s ambition.
At age 17, the sexy Eva Green enrolled at Eva St. Paul Drama School, Paris where she attended up to three years. She then spent several weeks at the London Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, where she always picked evil roles to deal with everyday emotions. Eva Green continued her studies in New York, attending the Tisch School of the Arts. She then returned to Paris to perform on several plays.
In 2002, director Bernardo Bertolucci discovered Eva Green, where he invited her to star in the 2003 British-French film, The Dreamers. In this movie, Eva Green performed extensively nude scenes. Although she felt natural acting on set, Green says she was embarrassed when her family saw the film. Her performance in the film was well received, with some critics comparing her to the Hollywood actor Liv Tyler.
